American artist Cindy Palmer studied at Cal Poly Pomona as well as under Alberto Mijango. She has had many exhibitions in Texas as well as owning a gallery in San Antonio. For her, she says “My acrylic canvases incorporate the stains and scratches of modern culture revealed by the application and removal of textures and relevant objects that encompass years of unfolding stories.” This piece is very dramatic incorporating metal and plastic elements that give it unusual depth and dimension.
